Basin Folding Seagrass Belly Basket
$38.00
The folded-rim seagrass basket that turns a plastic nursery pot into something you leave on show. Roll the top down for a low bowl, leave it up for a tall basket — one basket, two shapes, depending on what you put in it.
Why people buy this one
- It hides the pot your plant came in. A fiddle leaf or a monstera in a black nursery pot looks half-finished. Drop it into this and the plant reads as furniture.
- The rim folds, so one basket does two jobs. Rolled down it's a shallow bowl for throws or magazines; rolled up it's a deep basket for a tall plant or toys.
- It collapses flat. Store the spare ones under a bed instead of nesting them on a shelf you need.
- Three sizes that cover the usual pots. 23 cm for a small houseplant, 27 cm for the mid-size, 32 cm for the big floor plant or the throw-blanket pile by the sofa.

Read this before you order
- One basket per order. Several photos show two or three together — that's the styling, not the order.
- Plants and pots are not included.
- Measure your pot, not your plant. Match the basket diameter to the widest point of the pot and allow a centimetre or two; a pot that just fits will stretch the weave.
- Seagrass is not waterproof. Water the plant at the sink and let it drain, or slip a saucer inside. Standing water will rot the base.
- Expect a faint grassy smell for the first week. Air it out; it fades. That smell is how you know it's real seagrass and not plastic wicker.
